Abinsi lynch: Police intervenes after many hours

In a country were things don't work as desired, where Police don't intervene when needed; mobs tend to be the best and closest force to take actions.
It was gathered this morning that a man alleged to have burgled a shop was burnt by some angry mobs in Abinsi right opposite a police station. Abinsi is a city in Guma local government area of Benue state. Reportedly, the deceased broke into an Igbo man's shop with his gang of three, but he was the only person caught and roasted.
The mobs have been ranting that it would serve as warning to others.
It will be of note that Fulani herdsmen has been attacking the same local government area recently.
Youth corpers serving in Abinsi are already agitating the unsafe situation of the state.
Others have been asking where the police men went when a man is been burnt opposite the police station.
