"My father was a nobody" says Peter Okoye (Psquare)

Abeg oh, Peter Okoye na my real man oh!

On Peter's feud with Seun Kuti, I'm not taking sides. But I can't make sense out of his statement of his father was a nobody and that he made his father's name known. Nah.

The "son of a nobody" is an ínsult.

A local palmwine tapper is SOMEDAY with or without wealth and fame.

My father was a nobody means my father was nonexistent. Man, your father was Okoye! Whether many people knew him or not, he was somebody!

My father is Ayo and he is somebody! You may not know him but he is somebody.

Davido's father with all the money he had wasn't famous until his son brought his name fame, but does that automatically translate to his father being a nobody before his stardom? No!

Peter meant to buttress a point but let's admit that he used the wrong phrase, stop trying to make it make sense.

Even the child of a mhad man is a child of somebody.
