An up and coming artist Mayormike Okafor (Mayor of Owerri) an Imo State based Afropop Artist said a place of his origin has alot to do with his contents (song’s) in terms of  his mother tongue “Igbo” because he sing/rap with Igbo mostly.

He's  a lover of Entertainment (Music) from Sec School days as a cultural prefect, though he has been writing songs since 2008, but he ventured officially into music & recorded his first song 21st/Feb/2017. He said "My life is my motivation"

He said he was discouraged and criticize by people amidst the long-run but determination and consistent has always been his watchwords. He has worked with some Artists within southeast and If he's opportune to work with any A-list artist he will choose Flavour, Phyno & Anyidon.
